From Kansai International Airport (KIX), here is a general guide

By Train:

  1. Take the JR Limited Express Haruka

    • From Kansai Airport Station, board the Haruka Express to Kyoto Station.

    • Duration: ~75 minutes.

    • Cost: ~¥2,900 (non-reserved seat).

  2. From Kyoto Station

    • Depending on Nokishita Toshokan's exact location (e.g., in Fushimi or another area of Kyoto), you can take a local train, bus, or taxi.

    • Kyoto's public transport includes JR lines, private railways like Keihan, and city buses.

    • Alternatively, take a taxi for more convenience, especially if you have luggage.

By Bus:

  1. Airport Limousine Bus to Kyoto Station

    • Direct buses run from Kansai Airport to Kyoto Station.

    • Duration: ~1 hour 30 minutes.

    • Cost: ~¥2,600.

  2. From Kyoto Station

    • Follow the same options as mentioned above to reach Nokishita Toshokan.

By Car:

  1. Rent a Car or Take a Taxi

  • From Kansai Airport, you can rent a car or hire a taxi to Nokishita Toshokan.

  • Distance: ~90 km.

  • Duration: ~2 hours, depending on traffic.

  • Cost: A taxi could cost over ¥20,000.

From Tottori Conan Airport (TTJ), here is a general guide:

 

By public transport:

  1. From Tottori Airport:

     

By Bus:

  • Cost: Approximately ¥470.

  • Duration: Around 20–25 minutes.

  • Frequency: Buses run regularly, but schedules may vary, so checking the airport's or bus company's website is advisable.

 

By Taxi:

  • Cost: Approximately ¥2,500–¥3,000, depending on traffic and exact route.

  • Duration: About 15–20 minutes.

  1. From Tottori Station:

    • Take the JR San'in Main Line to Kurayoshi Station (approximately 50 minutes by local train).

 

By Taxi:

  • Direct taxi from Tottori Airport to Nokishita Toshokan takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes, depending on traffic. This is the most straightforward option, though it may be costlier.

 

By Car (Rental):

  • Rent a car at Tottori Airport for flexibility. The drive to Nokishita Toshokan takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes via Route 9. This option is ideal for exploring the surrounding rural areas.
