This program aims to help you enhance your knowledge of yoga while also encouraging you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself. The training goes beyond preparing you to teach advanced classes and instead focuses on inspiring you to explore how we can respond with awareness, humility, and wonder as we navigate through our daily life.

YOGĀRT COLLECTIVE is a Yoga Alliance-registered yoga School (RYS). Our certified 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed to refine your practice and teaching skills.

Our professional training course and mentorship program is not just about learning but also about creating a supportive and nurturing environment. We are here to help you establish a solid personal therapeutic practice, share yoga with others, and build a successful teaching business.

You will explore and actualise advanced asana techniques and modifications for physical limitations and other considerations, dive into the wisdom of ancient yogic texts, and develop a deeper understanding of anatomy, meditation, and pranayama.​

This course also deepens your knowledge of the relationship between Yoga and Ayurveda, with classes focused on cultivating Prana (life force), Agni (inner fire), and Ojas (vigour).

You will examine relationships and connections to integrate yoga therapy tools and principles into a group class and private session.

What is ‘Therapeutic’?

ther·a·py [ther-uh-pee] noun, plural ther·a·pies.

1. the treatment of disease or disorders, as by some remedial, rehabilitating, or restorative process
2. a curative power or quality.
3. any act, hobby, task, program, etc., that relieves tension.

In this YOGART COLLECTIVE training there is a strong emphasis on physiology, subtle anatomy and yoga psychology so that at the end of the course students leave having learned essential tools and life skills to offer programmes inspired by research and traditional practices into both group classes and one-to-one sessions.

From alignment based Hatha and Vinyasa Flow to the more subtle energetic practices of Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Mindfulness, you will learn different ways of practicing and teaching to provide relief from suffering and distress both physical and/ or psychological.

Morning classes are more dynamic and alignment based. Afternoon practices are a combination of restorative, Yin Yoga and meditation. YOGART COLLECTIVE is not a place to blindly follow random poses. You will progressively learn to achieve advanced poses through a Curriculum by attending the Basic, Essential and Intermediate classes during the week.

At the end of this training you will be able to craft intelligent and creative classes that will educate, inspire and heal.
 

The training encourages you to listen deeply to your own process and engage in specific practices for self-inquiry within the group experience. It promotes self-evolution through advanced yoga practice and teaches students how to instruct effectively in a thoughtful, concise, professional, and grounded manner.

  • Understanding the application of yoga anatomy related to skeletal, muscular, circulatory, digestive, and respiratory systems

  • Demonstrating, observing, and breaking down yoga postures (asanas)

  • Modifying asanas to accommodate physical limitations and other considerations

  • Exploring the therapeutic effects of yoga practices for common lifestyle-related imbalances

  • Incorporating functional mobility training to progress into advanced physical postures safely

  • Observing and applying healing touch techniques

  • Creating class series sequences suitable for a diverse range of body types

  • Participating in supervised practical training

  • Focus on preventing and managing injuries

  • Utilising Ayurvedic tools to adjust yoga class sequences and personalise private sessions based on the season, time of day, stage of life, and basic doshic imbalances.

  • Completed 200-Hours Yoga TTC with a Registered Yoga School (RYS200) .

(Students will undergo training for 6 days per week, with Sunday off.)

The course includes 270 hours of contact hours and 30 hours of non-contact hours. Ten of these non-contact hours will be dedicated to preparatory work to be completed before the course begins. It's recommended to apply early to make the most of the course.

* Early bird discount of 200€. To benefit, reserve your spot 3 months ahead.

* A deposit of 400€ is required to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is paid upon arrival.

While with us, you participate in daily sadhanas, carve silent time for self-study, and integrate your skills in insightful supervised practicums.

What is included in the fees: 

  • ​All packages are residential and include the accommodation of your choice, breakfast, lunch, dinner, water and herbal teas.

  • A comprehensive Training Manual with relevant and detailed content covering:

    • Pose Alignments, Cues, Adjustments and Assists for advanced poses and variations

    • Advanced Anatomical and information that integrates with your Asana understanding

    • Teaching Methodology, covering Vocals, Projection, Cueing, Assistance and Alignment, class sequencing and structuring

    • Detailed instructions on safely exploring the yogic practices that go Beyond Asana - pranayama, mudra, bandha and meditation

    • Yogic philosophy covers Bhagavad Gita, The Yoga Sutras, and the Samkhya Philosophy.

    • Mantras and chants in Sanskrit with their English translations

  • The yoga studio and the rooms are located on the property of the retreat centre.

  • 300 Hours of Professional Training and Guidance with Olivier and his Teaching team as part of a small group of participants to ensure that quality attention is given to each trainee.

  • A recommended list of texts that you can read in preparation for your intensive Journey.

  • A Completion Certificate fully recognised by Yoga Alliance and full assistance rendered on our end for your registration and acceptance into the Yoga Alliance as a Certified RYT300 Yoga Teacher.

Our location

Stay under the canopy of this two acre coconut grove in one of twenty two back-to-nature cabanas. No two cabanas are alike. Fashioned from local materials like rice straw, and bamboo, the cabanas are built to include trees, leaves, and to let you see the moon and star-filled skies. The living areas combine a rural feel with a surprising degree of comfort.
